Activities
Activity is defined as physical movement, the pursuit of everyday interests, and as social participation. At Genesee County Nursing Home, the activities department does many group and individual activities with the residents on a daily basis. The residents enjoy many of the following activities:
Luncheons Bingo Shopping Trips Entertainers Arts & Crafts Socials on the Units Many card games Movie Day Exercise Groups Animal Visits Cooking Groups Church Services for all denominations Special Breakfast Red Hats Group Holiday Oriented Special Programs Resident Newsletter Themed Socials (Hawaiian, Mexican, etc.)
