The Long Term Care Task Force, NY Connects Genesee Care Options, and the Office for the Aging partnered with Genesee Community College to create a more elder friendly health care workforce for the GLOW (Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties) region. The Geriatric Clinical Rotation has been added as a part of the college's Registered Nursing Program's Lifespan 210 course. Genesee Community College has expanded its focus to include a geriatric clinical experience that spans the home and community based health care services for older adults (where more and more older adults are receiving their health care services).
