Long Term Care Task Force
GENESEE COUNTY LONG TERM CARE TASK FORCE Genesee County works to improve long term care planning and access to information for seniors and disabled people. The Task Force works together to make the system better and see what needs are in the community. There are over 25 agencies and businesses that offer long term care services in Genesee County. These include consumer advocacy groups and consumer representatives of the task force itself. Agencies and groups on the task force include: Skilled Nursing Facilities Adult Care Homes Hospice Care Hospitals Family-type Care Veterans Agencies Independent Living Terminal Comfort Care Adult Day Care Senior Housing Certified and Licensed Home Care Agencies Genesee County Departments Each group involved in the project has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Confidentiality Agreement. This outlines the relationship and agreements made by partner groups.
