     Accident reports may be obtained online 24/7 and will be
     uploaded within approximately five business days from the date
     of the accident.  Please click on the PoliceReports.US logo below to request an
     accident report using the report number, accident date or by
     driver or registered owner name.  Downloads are available in PDF
     or TIFF format. 

 CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.......................................................... $10.00
     To release a copy of your background records, you must first
     complete an "Authorization for Release of Information" form.  
     Please keep in mind that this background check is only for
     records on file at the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.  It
     will not include records from any other agencies (ie: NYS
     Troopers, City of Batavia Police Department, etc.)  Please
     allow approximately 7-10 business days for your request to
     be completed.

     If you wish to request a copy of records under the Freedom
     of Information Act, an "Application for Public Access to Records"
     must be completed.  The Records Access Officer will review
     your request, and you will be contacted within approximately
     five business days with the total number of pages and cost of
     your request for payment.
