Annual Youth Recognition Award
The Genesee County and City of Batavia Youth Boards sponsor annual Youth Recognition Awards for some of the outstanding people in our communities. Youth Awards are presented to young people who have demonstrated outstanding or extraordinary contributions to their communities or families. Adult Youth Worker Award is presented to a youth serving professional, in a paid position, whose work exceeds normal expectations. Adult Volunteer Award is presented to an adult volunteer who is a positive role model for young people. Business Appreciation Award is presented to a business that supports the Youth Bureaus and youth development programs. Forms are emailed and mailed out to schools and other organizations throughout Genesee County so people can nominate individuals who meet the award criteria. The recipients are recognized by the Boards, Youth Bureaus and other community members at a dinner in early spring. 2017 Youth Recognition Award Nomination Forms
