DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is routine manual work involving responsibility for the safe and economical operation of a motor vehicle in the delivery of meals to the elderly. The work is performed under general supervision according to set procedures. Does related work, as required.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
Operates a motor vehicle delivering meals, supplies, or materials to various homes or buildings;
Picks up and deliver meals to and from various buildings or sites;
Loads and unloads the vehicle;
Makes special deliveries as assigned.
