Culvert Replacement Project on Lewiston Rd in Alabama

Alabama, New York – The Genesee County Highway Department would like to inform the public about an upcoming road closure on Lewiston Rd between Route 63 and Knowlesville Rd in Alabama. Beginning Monday, August 28th, the road will be closed to all traffic for approximately eight weeks to facilitate a culvert replacement project.

The culvert replacement project is an essential infrastructure improvement aimed at enhancing the safety and functionality of Lewiston Rd. The existing culvert will be replaced with a new culvert pipe to improve water flow under Lewiston Rd and ensure the long-term sustainability of the roadway.
